Track owner Rusty Moosbrugger built a 600 ft clay track behind Moosbruggers Small Engine Shop in 2008 with the intention of having a place to test the racing mowers he and Nelson were building to race at other tracks. What was about a dozen people in a field has turned into "Moose Mountain Speedway" with hundreds of people having a fun affordable day of mower and kart races. Rusty and his crew do a great job of maintaining the track and have had lots of positive feedback. Our goal here at Moose Mountain Speedway is to have safe racing, happy people and a friendly atmosphere! There is plenty of parking and track is very easy to locate, 1909 US RT 11 Hastings, NY 13076 (about 5 miles north of Central Square, NY).
